	Sister City Adult Trips Since 1983, the sister cities of Englewood and Billerbeck have also promoted adult friendships through mutual visits. Every four years, the Englewood Sister City Club organizes a two-week trip to Europe. The trips include visits to several countries, culminating in a four-day stay in Billerbeck, Germany. Like the Youth Exchange, the adults stay in Billerbeck homes where close friendships are quickly formed. Two years after Englewood visits Billerbeck, an adult contingent of Germans comes to America for two weeks, including a four-day stay in Englewood homes. The visits are a time of festive parties, dinners and day trips, providing plenty of opportunity for positive learning experiences, as well as establishing international friendships that can last a lifetime.
